Day 5

Close to My Heart has a number of "How-To" books for both scrapbooking and card making.  Every time a new one is published I have to get it and once I receive that book, I use over and over and over again.  Then for a change of pace, I put it on the shelf.  Well I was challenged this week to pull it out and use it again.  This is one of the layouts I did with the Cherish scrapbooking book.

Day 4

Day 4 - so one thing about adding a post to your blog is you must save it - oops.  So Day 4 is being resaved.  I have been doing grandma things (as a good friend of mine calls it).  I have been crocheting wash clothes.  Good last minute gifts for almost every one and they go together so quick.  Enjoy!

Day 3

Using your Cricut can add some dimension to your page layouts.  It can be as simple as adding some shapes to create  depth.

January 2016 Happy New Year Close to My Heart Dear Liz, Where has 2015 gone?  It seems as if the year has just flown by.  With the beginning of every year, there is the "list" of New Year's resolutions - losing weight or getting fit seem to top the list of most, including me.  This year I have decided to change it up a bit.  This year my goal is more in the creative area of my life.  This year my goal is to complete one scrapbook page, card or project every day and post them to my blog.  This will be two fold, I will be updated my blog and get scrapbooking and cards done.
